Ground
Disturbance - Level II Supervisor Course

This
is a one-day course based on Alberta Industry Recommended Practice
(IRP17), which covers ground disturbance in the vicinity of buried
facilities, as well as current provincial legislative
requirements. Safety issues and practices are strongly
emphasized and addressed in detail. |
|
|
|
This
course is available to all those interested understanding the
implications of ground disturbance. Open to
anyone
whose work is related to the ground disturbance industry, as well
as those in the private sector who simply wish to obtain
information on the rules and regulations of ground disturbance. |
|
|
|
The
course will discuss how to prevent damage to buried facilities,
and will outline the hazards associated with ground disturbance as
it relates to specific situations, such as: |

|
● Ground disturbance and the law |
● Established standards and
practices |
|
|
|
|
●
Giving notice before ground disturbance |
● Preventative measures |
|
|
|
EMLOC
Ltd is under contract with
HSE Integrated as a certified instruction facility for their
Ground Disturbance - Level II Supervisor Course. Upon
successful completion of this course, students will receive
laminated, wallet-sized certification issued by EMLOC Ltd with
permission from HSE Integrated.
Course recertification is required every three years. |
